Air Fryer Cajun Shrimp

You’ll feel like you’re at a Louisiana crawfish boil when you dig into this hearty dinner.

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 30 minutes


¼ tbsp ground cayenne pepper

½ tbsp garlic powder

¼ tbsp onion powder

⅓ tbsp sea salt

1 pound shrimp, peeled

6 ounces Andouille or smoked sausage, sliced

1 zucchini, sliced

1 yellow squash, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil


  1. If using uncooked sausage, air fry at 370 F for 5 minutes. Slice.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shrimp and vegetables. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasonings. Stir to combine.
  3. Stir in sausage.
  4. Add half of the mixture to the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 minutes at 400 F.
  5. Repeat with the remaining shrimp mixture.
  6. Return both batches to the air fryer and cook at 400 F for 1 minute.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Air Fryer Whole Chicken

Yes, you can make a whole chicken in your Skinnytaste air fryer!

Servings: 2 to 4

Prep Time: About 1 hour


1 3-pound chicken

1 pint buttermilk

3 tsp salt


  1. One day before cooking, sprinkle the chicken with 2 tsp salt.
  2. Place the chicken in a large bowl and marinate in buttermilk. After a few hours, turn the chicken over. Let marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Place the chicken in the air fryer. Sprinkle with ½ tsp salt.
  4. Air fry at 350 F for 25 minutes.
  5. Turn chicken over and sprinkle with ½ tsp salt. Air fry for an additional 25 minutes at 350 F.
  6. Remove to a serving platter. Insert a knife between the leg and thigh – the chicken should be crisp and golden brown and the juices should be clear in color.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Asian-Style Chicken

Serve these with air-fried bok choy, cut lengthwise and marinated in olive oil, salt, and garlic powder.

Prep Time: 2 ½ hours


8 boneless chicken thighs

¼ cup soy sauce

2 ½ tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp honey

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 tsp Sriracha

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 green onion, sliced

1 tbsp sesame seeds


  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, and sriracha.
  2. Pour half over the chicken. Allow to marinate at least two hours. Reserve the remainder of the sauce in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400 F. Cook chicken in a single layer for 14 minutes. Cook in multiple batches if necessary.
  4. Simmer remaining sauce over low heat until it thickens.
  5. Drizzle sauce over chicken and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
